- Save or move your downloaded items, torrent files and alike. Then, exit the unwanted client.
- To uninstall µTorrent, usually, you need to run its original uninstall code as the admin user. To do so, plz check out yr own apps/ programs list under Control Panel, locate yr own build of µTorrent, and then, press Enter or, launch the Uninstall option in the list.
- Wait... until you see the following UAC alert come up. Then, choose the Yes from that info box.
- Wait again when the "uTorrent Install Wizard" is loading its required stuff. Then, hit d Uninstall button. Check the removal option for your uTorrent settings if you want to free up more disk space automatically.
- The risky µTorrent software should be removed from your system then. Save. Reboot, then search & erase µTorrent related leftover files and/or other entries in Registry Editor.
