What would you do if the traditional uninstall routine or manual one does not help un-install your unwanted VLC program successfully? So, what is the proven fix for issues of ridding hard-to-remove programs? Just give the powerful uninstaller for Windows a try, today!
- Save your personal files and other stuff.
- Exit VLC client: hit the Media menu, launch the Quit option at the bottom.
- Right click on VLC's shortcut file on yr own desktop, enter the "Open file location".
- Running VLC's own "uninstall" application as the admin user might the fastest way to un-install itself.
- Yes to the UAC below.
- Hit the Next button on the "VLC media player Uninstall" wizard below.
- Please consider keeping or erasing yr own VLC preferences and cache. Then press Uninstall.
- Quit the Uninstall box below.
