Part 1: Uninstall the Windows build of Google Chrome (on Win 10)
- Save yr work, restart your computer, then gain the admin access.
- Run Task Manager, end any Chrome related process.
- Usually, go to Control Panel then, hit "Add/Remove" (XP users) or, "Uninstall a program".
- Locate your own build of Google Chrome, then launch Windows' Uninstall option in the programs list.
- Check the option "Also delete your browsing data?" if you do not want to use Google Chrome again, then press the Uninstall button on the "Uninstall Google Chrome" info box below.
- Yr Chrome app (client) should be removed from your program settings within few seconds.
- Send yr feedback if you want to make Chrome better by completing the following survey below.
- Save your job then, restart yr system manually. Clean away Chrome related remains for better computer performance.
Part 2: Perform the uninstall of Chrome for Mac
- Run Google Chrome, then open Activity Monitor - this action helps find out almost everything about the undesired Chrome app, from the main install folder to install information.
- Then, use Activity Monitor to force Chrome to exit.
- Hit the following Quit to confirm the request.
- Close the following "Google Chrome (597) Terminated" window.
- Exit Activity Monitor. To rid of Google Chrome for Mac, enter the Applications instead.
- Right click on the app's icon, launch the "Move to Trash" option on the menu.
- Save yr job, reboot yr Mac, detect and clean away all the other Chrome or Google related leftovers.
