Thread Description: µTorrent has been widely known as No. 1 torrent download client for Windows, Mac, and mobile devices. On the other side, the Windows build has been detected as highly risky computer PUP (aka, PUA.OpenCandy), according to a file from Symantec Security Response. At least, you had better learn how to prevent those risky offers from installing in yr system, and never click those "Highly recommended" items (ads) at all cost. All in all, remove it thoroughly for good - hit here if you're a Mac user, then find a better alternative in the internet.

- Save yr personal data like your downloaded Torrent files. Then quit yr own µTorrent agent: hit d File menu, launch Exit, disable the option "Always perform this check" and then press the Yes button on the following µTorrent window.
- Check out yr own apps/ programs list when the Start menu shows up. Right click on the target item µTorrent, launch d Uninstall option on the menu.
- Locate the risky µTorrent in yr own programs list, press Enter or, launch Windows' own Uninstall option.

- Sit back till the following UAC alert comes up. Then hit the Yes button.
- To fully uninstall said µTorrent Stable client, you check the option "Remove my settings" and then, U press the Uninstall button on the "µTorrent Install Wizard" below.
- Then yr µTorrent should be removed. Last but bot least, rid of associated remains and afore-mentioned bundleware (e.g., Pluto TV) that you accidentally installed.
