Info: This is a mini post that offers tips on how to uninstall HDWallPaper 1.0 on Windows 10, and offers additional security measures against crapware in the internet proactively. Last but not least, that app has been flagged as riskware, according to this latest VT report. Then, you had better remove and/or avoid it for good.

- Login to your own Windows as the admin user, check the "Show hidden icons" in the taskbar; locate HDWallPaper's logo, right-click on it and launch Exit.
- Check your desktop, right hit the app's shortcut file, select "Open file location" and enter the PUP's install folder. Then, run the following unins000.exe using the admin rights.
- Hit the Yes button on the following UAC info box.
- Press the Uninstall button on the "HDWallPaper Uninstall" wizard below.
- Quit that wizard when it get the express uninstall done.
- Remember to clear out HDWallPaper's remains. Double check the Startup menu to keep that setting clean.
