but is it really necessary for avira launcher to be removed? Hi Kohaku, Please be kindly educated that, Avira Launcher has been produced to manage the install of new Avira programs (v2016). That's to say, you can use Avira Launcher to install other Avira products online, such as Avira Free Antivirus, Avira Pro Antivirus. Then, you can just keep those apps you need, you use, and rid of those you do not use even you do not know at all.

Avira launcher. could it become something dangerous for my computer like for example, some of my data suddenly disappear? or may be effect my computer performances? No, Avira Launcher is a risk-free computer program from the Avira company. As for yr computer's performance, you can also consider removing all other unwanted or unused items in your programs list: Start > Control Panel > "Uninstall a program" section (copy and paste Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features into the address bar).

@kohaku: Below are two options to uninstall the Avira Launcher on a Win 7 comp, cleanly & automatically: Option #1: 1. Run the said uninstall tool. 2. Look into the "All Programs" tab. 3. Hit (choose) Avira Launcher, then launch the option "Uninstall". 4. Wait... 5. Hit the Uninstall button on the following Avira Setup box. 6. Wait again... 7. Exit the Setup. 8. Now, hit the Scan button on the uninstaller's clean uninstall wizard. 9. Check the removal option for any avira's remains, and complete the progress w/ ease. BTW, I re-tested other versions of Avira Launcher: it could install the Avira Browser Safety 1.9 to Mozilla Firefox web browser without alert. Please check it out for yourself.

stuck here. i don't understand what is that imgur.com/GigCENr it required free antivirus? and here imgur.com/YGV9StV i cannot end process avgnt.exe Are you still trying to install Avira Free Antivirus? or avira is still updating itself. If so, you first stop the install process, see the following imgs, then restart your 7, and re-try the given option above. You then perform the forced uninstall if the Option 1 fails to help u out.

where i found the first picture? Plan A: save your work, restart yr 7 and re-try the Option 1 then. Plan B is to use the "Forced Uninstall" option above.
